The provincial government said the army officers, sergeants, and soldiers were trained over a period of two months, covering new theoretical and practical courses. In the meantime, a unit of the Afghan National Police Border Protection Forces also completed a fresh course of training in this province. The commander of the 215th Corps Gen. Wali Mohammad Ahmadzai said the condition of the 215th Corps and its personnel are improving each day as steps are being taken to standardize and empower the armed forces in the South. He congratulated the armed forces for completing fresh courses and instructed them to respect the ordinary civilians, protect the territorial integrity of the country, and act as per the laws, in a bid to secure more confidence from the local public. | |
