| 406 fighters freed in prisoner swap between 'Nusra Front' and rival group |

| [EN.ZAMANALWSL.NET] Former al-Qaeda group and Syria Liberation Front swapped 406 prisoners and hostages in Idlib province on Monday, ending two months of tensions and festivities, a rebel official said. Amr al-Jundi, commander in 'Jabhat Tahrir Souriya' told Zaman al-Wasl that Hayat Tahrir al-Sham  and his rebel group had exchanged 406 fighters.Formerly known as Nusra Front has freed 149 rebels from Tahrir Souriya and 37 from Suqour al-Sham while 220 fighters from Tahrir al-Sham were freed in return. The prisoner exchange deal was brokered prominent holy man Abdullah al-Muhaisini and Abu Mohammed al-Sadeq. |
