| Diyala (IraqiNews.com) Eight people, including security personnel were killed and injured as a kaboom took place on an agricultural road, northeast of Baquba, Diyala, local sources said on Friday. Speaking to AlSumaria News, Awwad al-Rubei’y, head of the security committee of Abu Sayda town, said "three non-combatants were killed late on Thursday in a kaboom on an agricultural road near Berwana region, at the outskirts of Abu Sayda." Moreover, five security personnel were killed and injured due to the blast. "Three security personnel were killed, while two others were maimed, late yesterday, in a blast near Berwana village,"Adnan al-Tamimi, head of Muqdadiya municipal council, told Alghad Press on Friday.
