#10  Expect to see much more of this as high schools and colleges are converted into socialist, communist knuckle dragging indoctrination camps.

#9  Electrical fire, fuse room with *live* power, and (idiot) supervisor was stopped pulling a 1" water hose at the door... Probably would have shut down the whole production floor for a week and *zapped* him into Intensive Care (if he was lucky).

#8  This is as bad and stupid as that explosion in Tianjin a couple years back... you know, the one with the carbide?

#7  Suit up the board of directors, give'em a 2" line, and kick their asses towards the fire.

#6   A water-based fire suppression system in a magnesium plant. Brilliant. Simply brilliant...

Yeah. This is basic high school chemistry and the facts of life for anyone who puts out fires for a living. It's hard to imagine the multiple levels of fuckupery required for this to happen.

#5  One interesting thing about the aftermath. Ford moved 84,000 lb of its machinery from this plant to somewhere in the UK over a 30 hour period to recover their ability to continue producing their best selling line, pickups. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

#3  "we saw a white glow in the tunnel. We exited the plant at that time" at a rapid pace.

Saw the aftermath of a mag fire, not much else to do.
