Enough that when I first hear of any "hate" incident my default, preliminary assumption, until I see more evidence, is that it's fake.

The number of real hate crimes has fallen so low that the Left has to manufacture fake ones to justify its continued existence.

FWIW, thanks to the #MeToo movement and the frequency of false rape accusations on college campuses, I make the same assumptions about "sexist" incidents as I do about "racist" ones.

#8  Judging by the number of fake hate-crimes i suspect the number of real hate-crimes is really low (and most of those are probably fakes that haven't been exposed yet).
