Militants suffer casualties in Ghor airstrikes |

[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The anti-government armed turbans have suffered heavy casualties during the The First Brigade of the 207th Zafar Corps of the Afghan Military in the West said the airstrikes were carried out in support of the ground operations in Charsada district. A statement released by the First Brigade of Zafar Corps states that the airstrikes left at least 20 turbans dead while at least 13 others sustained injuries. The statement further adds that two commanders of the anti-government armed turbans identified as Mawlavi Abdul Hadi and Mawlavi Nasim were among those killed. According to the First Brigade of Zafar Corps, the operations in Charsada are jointly being conducted by the Afghan army, police, and personnel of the other security institutions. |
