Puntland Security Forces said in a statement on Saturday.
"Puntland Security Forces (PSF) carried out an anti-Al-Shabaab operation in Maraje area in al-Madow Mountains in response to an overnight attack against Puntland’s PMPF army base," PSF said in a statement.
"41 al-Shabaab bad boyz were potted during the Saturday’s operation in the Maraje area," the statement added.
On Saturday, at least five Puntland soldiers died after al-Shabaab bully boyz attacked an army base in Bali-Khadar area in Galgala Mountains, military sources told Radio Shabelle.
