| Large ISIS counter-offensive in southeast Syria falls apart |

(ISIS) launched a large-scale counter-offensive against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in the Badiya al-Sham region of al-Sweida on Wednesday. ISIS began the attack on Wednesday by attempting to overwhelm the Syrian Arab Army troops near the large hilltop of Tal Barakat. For a few hours, the Islamic State repeatedly struck the Syrian Army’s defenses at Tal Barakat in a bid to overwhelm the pro-government troops. However, corruption finds a dozen alibis for its evil deeds... the Islamic State’s assault would eventually lose momentum by sundown, forcing them to withdraw back into this vast desert region in southeast Syria. According to a military report, the Syrian Army, alongside their allies from Hezbollah and the National Defense Forces (NDF), was able to reestablish full security around Tal Barakat. The report added that scores of Islamic State bad boyz were potted during this brief battle on Wednesday. |
