| NY Times says reporter Ali Watkins had ‘multiple' relationships with sources she covered |

| h/t Instapundit The New York Times is reporting that its reporter Ali Watkins, who was dating James Wolfe, a "former Senate Intelligence Committee staffer charged with lying to the FBI about his contacts with journalists," had "multiple" relationships with sources she covered: ...By August, Ms. Watkins told friends that she and Mr. Wolfe had broken up. He had been spooked by her meeting with Mr. Rambo, and was refusing to disclose their relationship to his own employers in the Senate In the fall, Ms. Watkins started dating a different staff member from the committee. She told others that she had informed a Politico editor who did not object. But Mr. Dayspring, the Politico spokesman, said: "Politico editors were not made aware of this relationship." ...And she even shared chocolates from a different source with the newsroom! And all this after 2 generations of "female empowerment" |

| #19 gardening being the oldest.. I don't know. I can easily see old Ali offering it to Chief Grunt for a better piece of the mammoth - back in the hunter-gatherer days before agriculture. :) But I'm not a historian or anthropoligist (can't even spell it...). |

| #4 And all this after 2 generations of "female empowerment" ...I would suggest that it worked - she felt utterly and completely empowered to throw what little remains of her profession's integrity and ethics down the toilet in order to get a story and advance herself professionally. And quite honestly, it looks like she never had a moments' doubt about what she was doing. Boink whoever and whenever you want, Sugarplum.
