The convoys, headed towards the Hodeidah province, carried 512 tons and 920 kilograms of basic foodstuffs that will be distributed to the most needy families in the coming days.

Saturday’s latest relief brings to 119 the total number of convoys that have been provided by KSRelief to Yemen in 12 days.

The convoys are among a series of projects provided by KSRelief to the Yemeni people. The center has so far implemented 262 projects throughout Yemen.

Last month, 18 KSRelief relief convoys, carrying 361 tons and 462 kilograms of foodstuffs, crossed the Wadia border towards Hodeidah.

One June 19, 15 KSRelief trucks, loaded with food and medicine, headed from Jazan towards Yemen.

That same day, four trucks arrived in Aden on their way to Hodeidah, carrying 70 tents and 10,000 cartons of dates.

A day later, Adviser to the Royal Court and KSRelief General Supervisor Dr. Abdullah al-Rabiah launched a 45-truck convoy, carrying 924 tons and 462 Kilograms of food, medical and shelter materials, to Hodeidah.
