| Yemeni Army Captures Senior Houthi Militant in Hajjah |

| [AAWSAT] The Yemeni army announced on Sunday that its forces have captured Houthi ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews... leader, Waddah Ahmed Hussein Dahman, in the Hajjah region as they were advancing in the valley of Hiran, north of the governorate, reported the Saudi Press Agency. The Houthi captive is the director of the office of prominent Houthi leader Ahmed al-Madoumi, who is responsible of Kahlan Afar in Hajjah, said a statement from the fifth military region. Separately, the army regained military vehicles and large quantities of different types of weapons in battles against the Houthis on the Midi Hiran front. The Yemeni National Army, backed by the Saudi-led Arab coalition, is engaged in fierce battles with the Houthis in Midi Hiran, as the military continues its march on the coastal strip and deep in Hiran valley. |
