expert, 12 less distinguished turbans killed in Nangarhar province
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] An expert of the Improvised Explosive Devices and at least twelve ISIS Khurasan militants were killed in separate incidents in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.The provincial government media office in a statement said a militant was killed while he was developing an improvised explosive device in his house in Ghani Khel district.
The statement further added that the IED expert was killed instantly after the explosives went off during the making of the improvised explosive device.
The Rantburg Department of Reportorial Accuracy adds that he wasn't all that much of an expert.
The provincial government also added that the US forces conducted airstrike in Awghaz area of Haska Mina district, leaving at least seven ISIS Khurasan militants dead.
In separate airstrikes conducted in Nazian and Achin districts, at least 5 ISIS Khursan militants were killed, the provincial government added.
The statement also added that the local residents and security personnel have not suffered casualties during the operations.
