Turkish-backed rebels, jihadists clash inside Idlib buffer zone |

[ALMASDARNEWS] The According to the reports, the clashed in southern Idlib, with both sides trading attacks on one another’s checkpoints. The festivities reportedly died down this morning and clam has been restored to the southern countryside of the Idlib Governorate. The reason for these festivities is unknown; however, in the past, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham and the rebel groups that make up the NLF, primarily Harakat Nouriddeen al-Zinki and Harakat Ahrar al-Sham ...a Syria jihadi group made up of Islamists and salafists, not that there's that much difference, formed into a brigade. They make up the main element of the Islamic Front but they don't profess adoration of al-Qaeda and they've been fighting (mainly for survival) against the Islamic State. Their leadership was wiped out at a single blow by a suicide kaboom at a crowded basement meeting in September, 2014... , clashed with one another on several occasions last year. The two groups ultimately halted their hostilities once the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) East Ghouta operations began earlier this Summer. |
