MoD Claims 57 Insurgents Killed In ANSF Operations Across Afghanistan |

[ToloNews] Afghan Ministry of Defense (MoD) on Saturday claimed that at least 57 armed holy warriors were killed during Afghan forces ground and air strikes in the past 24 hours in different parts of the country. According to the ministry during the operation at least eight other holy warriors were maimed. The operations were conducted in Kunar, Helmand ...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... , Baghlan, Kandahar, Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. , Herat ...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... , Ghazni, Badakhshan, Urozgan, Nimroz, Paktia, Faryab, Khost, Sar-e-Pul ![]() ![]() communities, of which the Hazaras mostly don't bother anyone... and Pashtun-infested Logar province. During the operations enemies’ hideouts and weapons were also destroyed during air strikes in Farah province, MoD said. No details were given on civilian or security forces casualties. |
