Syrian Army guns down jihadist fighters attempting to infiltrate from Idlib buffer zone
2018-11-04
[ALMASDARNEWS] For the second time in the last three days, the jihadist rebels in the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate have tried to infiltrate the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) lines near the Idlib axis.

Led by Jaish al-Izza, the jihadist rebels attempted to bypass the Syrian Arab Army’s defenses south of al-Lataminah.

However,
alcohol has never solved anybody's problems. But then, neither has milk...
before they could infiltrate the government’s lines, the jihadist rebels were spotted by Syrian military scouts that were positioned near the front-lines in northern Hama.

According to a military report from the Hama province, the Syrian Arab Army’s machine gunners opened fire on the group of rebels, killing and wounding most of them before they abandoned their mission.

The Syrian Arab Army then seized the weapons that were left behind by the rebels before reinforcing this area in northern Hama.

The rebel forces often attempt to bypass the Syrian Army’s lines in northern Hama to plant explosives along the government roads.

While they are caught most of the time, the jihadist rebels do occasionally infiltrate the government’s lines and plant land mines and improvised bombs (IED) along the government roads.
