Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) ‐ Five Iraqis, including three schoolboys, were maimed Sunday in a boom-mobile blast near a school in al-Shirqat district in Salahuddin, a police commander said. "A booby-trapped vehicle went off near al-Shirqat primary school, leaving three pupils and two coppers maimed," the province’s police chief colonel Majid al-Ghatran told Mawazin news website. Surveillance cameras have shown a masked man wearing a military uniform and parking his car near the school’s gates, he said, adding that after about an hour and a half, the car went kaboom!, causing severe damage to the school’s facade. |
