[AlMasdar] A former rebel commander in the US-backed Southern Front Brigades has been revealed to be Syrian Arab Army (SAA) spy after he returned to government lines.The former rebel commander was identified as Yusef Awad; he was active in the Daraa province over the last six years.
According to reports, Yusef Awad was the former military commander of the Seif al-Sham Brigades.
Awad reportedly worked for the Syrian military intelligence until the Free Syrian Army
