| Pakistan: Two killed, several injured after blast rocks Karachi |

| [PRESSTV] Two people were killed and at least eight more were maimed after a blast in the Quaidabad area of Bloody Karachi ...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous... on Friday. Police responded to the incident and a bomb disposal unit was dispatched. It is thought a bomb had been placed near a vendor's cart and put on a timer. "The kaboom was very powerful. The bomb destroyed a fruit market. The blast shattered the windows of nearby buildings and caused a power outage in the entire area," an eyewitness explained. No group or individuals have grabbed credit for the blast. |
