| SWAT forces kill 5 Islamic State terrorists in Iraq’s Mosul |

| Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) – Five Islamic State (IS) militants were killed on Tuesday in a security operation in the Iraqi city of Mosul, chief of Nineveh police Brig. Gen. Hamad Names al-Jabouri was quoted as saying. Speaking to the privately-owned Baghdad Today website, al-Jabouri said that SWAT forces, backed by the U.S.-led international coalition warplanes, carried out a security operation in al-Menkar village in southern Mosul. “Five Islamic State terrorists were killed in the operation,” al-Jabouri added. |
