#4  The metallurgy involved in the engine and its nosecone will be helpful in future SSTO development. But this thing will radiate enough thermal energy that any high altitude sensor can spot it in lane-of-sight, Stealthy it ain't. So get a swarm of loitering (probably stealthy as well) drones up high and just wait for the incandescent object to appear on their passive IR sensors.

#2  Still trying to see the point of this weapon, other than the Cool Factorâ„¢. AEW drones at the horizon on the threat axis and arm them with interceptor missiles... To be going this fast for any distance will mean the missile will necessarily have to get bigger and bigger and bigger until it stops being a swarm weapon and becomes a strategic weapon.
