Young Taliban fighter surrenders to Afghan forces after killing 4 comrades |

[KhaamaPress] A young Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... bad boy killed his comrades and the surrendered to Afghan forces in northern Faryab province of Afghanistan, the Afghan Military said Friday. According to a statement released by 209th Shaheen Corps, the incident took place in Almar district on Thursday. The statement further added that a young Taliban fighter Gul Aqa surrendered to the Afghan forces after opening fire on his comrades, leaving four dead and two maimed. The anti-government armed bad boy groups including Taliban have not commented regarding the incident so far. Faryab is among the relatively volatile provinces in North of Afghanistan where the Talibs and other groups are actively operating in some of its districts and often carry out terrorist related activities. |
