Diyala (IraqiNews.com) – A security source said on Wednesday that three Iraqi citizens were killed and wounded in a bomb blast in northeastern Diyala. A booby-trapped motorbike exploded near Abu Sebaa village, 27km northeast of Baqubah, the capital of Diyala province, the source told Baghdad Today news agency. “The explosion left an Iraqi civilian dead and two others wounded,” added the source, pointing out that the security forces launched a probe into the bomb attack. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Islamic State (IS) militant group, in most cases, is responsible for attacks targeting crowded areas, including markets, cafes and mosques across Iraq. |
