#14  Opa!

Greensburg KS, 2007, President W. Bush was visiting the destruction and comes across a group of people picking up the pieces of a house, "Where are you boys from?"

"Oklahoma"

W., to the home owner, "How did you get these Okies to show up for work?"

"I told them the liquor cabinet is in the basement."

W shakes his head, walks on.

#9  Glad to hear you're ok, AP. Don't let the problem with the wine cellar cause a grape depression.

#6  Glad y’all are ok, Alaska Paul. As Ebbavirt Clunk4147 says, shame about the wine.

#4  Earthquake about 15 miles N of us. I was driving down the hill, and thought my tires had a problem.

#3  We are ok up here. We have a log house in a valley with glacial till, so the house, foundation and soil are solid. Some stuff came off but we have no structural damage. The flower shop where my son's lady works had severe damage, and the wine cellar in the basement turned into a wine lake. Road to airport sits on poor soil, so it is closed.

#1  I hope folks are OK up there. If that is a current photo, that car is very fortunate but in a pretty bad spot.
