| Afghan forces foil rocket attack on Kabul city |

| [KhaamaPress] The Afghan cops have thwarted Death Eaters bid to carry out a rocket attack on Kabl city, the security authorities said late on Sunday. The Kabul Police Commandment confirmed that the police forces have foiled a rocket attack on Kabul city. According to a statement released by Kabul Police Commandment, the police forces discovered a BM-1 rocket from the vicinity of the 9th police district of the city at around 6:32am local time. The statement further added that the rocket was discovered in Dasht Padola area and was defused by the Explosives Ordnance Disposal team of police. The anti-government armed Lion of Islam groups including Talibs have not commented regarding the report so far. |
