In October 2017, mere days after the US administration announced its withdrawal from UNESCO due to, among other things, its alleged obsession with Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that he was following the US lead. The withdrawal went into effect at midnight Gay Paree time (1 a.m. in Israel). |

| #1 The U.S. left UNESCO in 1984 and for some reason rejoined again in 2003. We withdrew again on 12-31-2018. Thank you Pres. Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump. Kudos to P.M. Netanyahu as well. Why help your enemies dig your graves? |
