Bombs hurt soldiers, student in southern Thailand |

![]() In Songkhla, a car bomb was detonated on Chonnabot Road in Thepha district about 6 a.m. Officials said rebels hanged a local resident and stole the vehicle, which was later packed with explosives. The vehicle was parked near an ad hoc security base. Two soldiers were wounded. In Pattani, a bomb blew up near a school protection team in Yarang district. The blast in front of a local education center was reported about 7:45 a.m. A soldier was severely wounded and a 12-year-old schoolgirl was also hurt. |
