Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is

forces launched a major counter-offensive in central Yemen, tonight, after losing several areas to the Saudi Coalition this week.
Backed by heavy artillery, the Houthi forces stormed the areas recently captured by the Saudi Coalition in the Qaniyah District of the al-Bayda Governorate.
According to preliminary reports from this front, the Houthi forces were able to make some preliminary gains, but they are still involved in heavy festivities with the Saudi Coalition and the pro-government Yemeni Army.
With the Hodeidah front frozen as a result of the U.N.-sponsored ceasefire, most of the fighting has shifted to the northern and central part of Yemen.
