| 3 terrorist networks busted in Kandahar province |

| [KhaamaPress] Three terrorist networks have been busted during the operations of the Afghan Intelligence (National Directorate of Security ...the Afghan national intel agency... ) forces in southern Kandahar province. The provincial government media office in a statement said the terrorist networks were busted during the operations which were conducted over the past one week. The statement further added that the terrorist networks comprised of 30 Death Eaters who were all locked away ... anything you say can and will be used against you, whether you say it or not... by the intelligence operatives. The detained Death Eaters were involved in major destructive activities including kabooms, suicide kabooms, and armed attacks, the provincial government added in its statement. According to the governor’s office, the Death Eaters were conducting attacks in Kandahar city and other districts of Kandahar province, mainly targeting security compounds, security check posts, and logistics convoys. This comes as the anti-government armed elements have been attempting to destabilize Kandahar province where the security situation had improved comparatively during the recent years. |
