Guaidó: We will not go to elections that do not have the conditions and real guarantees
2019-01-27
[ELUNIVERSAL] The president of the National Assembly (AN) and in charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, said on Saturday that he will not lend himself "for false dialogues" and denied that the people will attend "elections that do not have real conditions and guarantees" .

However,
a poor excuse is better than no excuse at all...
he said he was willing to meet "with any official who wants the cessation of the usurpation, the transitional government and free elections."

He explained that "there are many elements necessary for a free election, such as the renewal of the CNE, to open the electoral registry abroad, to have prior audits and not to have been disabled".

"They will not stop us, for false dialogues we will not lend ourselves and least of all for unconditional elections," he said.

He asserted that several European countries have already communicated with him and said that they will support the entry of humanitarian aid to Venezuela.

He also said that from today "the process of asset protection begins so that the money from Venezuela is not stolen."
