| [Mail] An 18-year-old Arkansas man has pleaded guilty to attempting to steal a commercial jet that he wanted to fly to a rap concert in Chicago on the Fourth of July. Zemarcuis Scott was sentenced to five years of felony probation after he tried to steal an American Eagle twin-engine jet to see the rapper Famous Dex on July 4, 2018. Scott told police at the time that while he had no pilot training, the teen believed he would only need to pull some levers and push some buttons to operate the 44-seat plane. The teen pleaded guilty on Thursday to attempted theft of property and commercial burglary. |
