's President Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday he expected more cooperation from Greece in the repatriation of eight soldiers who fled to Greece following a 2016 coup attempt. Earlier on Tuesday, Turkey updated a list of former military officers wanted for their alleged role in a 2016 coup attempt to include the eight officers who have been granted asylum in Greece, with a bounty of 4 million Erdogan made the remarks in a joint news conference with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras. | #1 I am sure if Erdogan pulled his troops out of occupied Cyprus and let the legitimate government regain control of the island then Greece would be happy to turn over the coup plotters in exchange. |
