US Coalition planned to bomb Syrian portable toilet in 2017
2019-02-06
[ALMASDARNEWS] The U.S. Coalition had planned to bomb a portable toilet that belonged to the Syrian government near the al-Tanf region, the Foreign Policy reported on Monday.

According to the Foreign Policy article, the U.S. Coalition called an Arclight airstrike on the Syrian government but made the decision to cancel the attack at the last minute.

The day prior to this incident, the U.S. Coalition had bombed an Iranian convoy that moved within 21 miles of their al-Tanf base in the southeastern countryside of the Homs Governorate.

The following day, the U.S. Coalition spotted one of the vehicles that was part of the convoy moving towards the government areas north of the al-Tanf zone while also transporting a portable toilet.

However,
some people are alive only because it's illegal to kill them...
the U.S. Coalition made the decision to cancel the attack because it was deemed ’unlawful’ by the high command, the Foreign Policy article claimed.

"We stray from the Constitution when military commanders choose to use US military force against another state’s force in the absence of a credible, imminent threat," a defense official told the magazine.
