According to a statement released by the Ministry of Interior, the two mine planters were killed in Guzara district.
"Today morning, two mine planters were killed by own kaboom while they were planting a roadside kaboom in Khowaja Shahab village, Guzara district, western Herat province," the statement added.
The anti-government armed turbans including Taliban have not commented regarding the incident so far.
Talibs and other bad boy groups often use Improvised Explosive Device as the weapon of their choice to target the security forces but in majority of such attacks ordinary civilians are targeted while Talibs also sustain casualties in some incidents involving premature kabooms.
