| #3 Probably decided that it just wasn't "going to get better" in the near future and decided to cut losses. A Hostage Crisis, like Iran, is possible, but probably someone walked through the logistics of what it would take to repair a sick airplane on site in Venezuela.... |

| #2 No, but they have been flying into Caracas with enough fuel to take off and get to Bogata, where they could refuel for real. There haven't been any nonstop flights out of Venezuela for a while, because you couldn't get any gas there. |
