Explosion close to a clinic in Jalalabad city leaves 6 women, children wounded |

[KhaamaPress] At least six people including three women and three children were maimed in an kaboom in Jalalabad city, the historic provincial capital of Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. province. The provincial government media office in a statement said the incident took place in the vicinity of 1st police district of the city. The statement further added that explosives were planted close to health clinic of Dr. Farida which went off at around 9am local time, leaving three women and three children maimed. According to provincial government, the women and kiddies have sustained injuries and are being treated in provincial hospital. No individual or group has so far grabbed credit for the kaboom. |
