#4 A nightmarish development. Anyone for an EMP attack launched from merchant shipping off the eastern seaboard? If the tech exists, it is going available on the black market. The usual response to unimaginable awfulness is to close your eyes and pretend it will never happen. This actually works quite well until it finally does happen. At which point, you're boned. Trump and other high-ranking defense officials are starting to make noise about hardening the power grid. I hope it happens sooner than later. |

#3 Bill Gertz talked about the possibility of the Chicoms controlling the Panama Canal ports through Hutchinson Wampoa in November 2002. He also discussed the possibility of installing nuclear missiles in containers at Panama ports in other articles. And that was 16 years ago. |
