The Office of the First Vice Presidnet in a statement said Gen. Dostum made the remarks during a meeting with the family members of Haji Zabit in Jawzjan province.
The statement further added that the First Vice President offered his condolences to the family mbers of Haji Zabit and appointed his brother Khal Mohammad as his successor.
Gen. Dostum also instructed the provincial and intelligence chiefs to take immediate steps to establish new security outposts in vulnerable areas of Jawzjan.
