Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov parrots Dem talking points |
2019-04-15 |
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced a shift in international power on Friday during an annual address at Moscow's diplomatic academy. Taking hits at Washington, Lavrov declared that the U.S. is no longer a leading national power and alleged the country has resorted to pressuring and blackmailing other powers to assert its dominance. He said today's world is marked by 'multipolarity' and that 'the emergence of new centers of power to maintain stability in the world requires the search for a balance of interests and compromises'. 'Unfortunately, our Western partners led by the United States do not want to agree on common approaches to solving problems,' he said according to Newsweek. |

#1 Poor baby. Sanctions laid bare fact that Russia is a failing paper tiger. Have the Russians considered selling Siberia to the Chinese for some cash? That is, before China takes it anyway. |
