2019-04-22 | |
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The Arab League ...an organization of Arabic-speaking states with 22 member countries and four observers. The League tries to achieve Arab consensus on issues, which usually leaves them doing nothing but a bit of grimacing and mustache cursing... has pledged $100 million per month to the Paleostinian Authority to make up for funds withheld by Israel because of payments made to the families of Paleostinian attackers and prisoners.
![]() addressed the vaporous Arab League in Cairo on Sunday as part of a diplomatic effort to rebuff the Trump administration’s Middle East peace plan, which American officials indicate could be released this summer. Abbas says, "the Arabs need to be engaging actively at this critical time." Abbas says the Paleostinians reject the deal and demand Israel fully withdraw from all occupied territories. Israel captured the West Bank, Gazoo Strip, and east Jerusalem in the 1967 Mideast war. The Paleostinians seek those territories for a future state. | |

#1 I suggest that in view of this, many Western countries could cut their pledges. |
