"A strike in Bagram district, destroyed a vehicle borne improvised bomb that could have potentially targeted innocent Afghan civilians," the sources said.

Parwan is among the relatively calm provinces in North of Afghanistan but Talibs are active in some of the remote districts of the province where they often attempt to carry out terrorist related activities against the government and security institutions.
