#5  Hollister St Bridge in San Ysidro/South Bay crosses the Tia Juana river. I won't let my staff inspect the underside without Hazmat prep and measures

#4  Mexico gets away with crap like this because we have a deal to split the water from the Colorado river but the US more or less takes it all long before it hits the border. We have guilt, they have crap.

#2  I wouldn't give Mexico another penny in foreign aid until they fix their damn sewer. But then, I probably wouldn't give it to them anyway. Maybe we could dig a canal to reroute all that sewage back into the streets of Tijuana.

I remember a long, long time ago surfing at Imperial Beach, jogging all the way to the border and body surfing in the shore break there, wading across the Tijuana River. IB was never the nicest beach. The City of Imperial Beach was never the nicest city, not like affluent Coronado to its north. But at least back then you could go in the water without getting sick. Wouldn't go anywhere near it now.
