The informed military sources said Saturday that the security forces carried out an airstrike in Qarabagh district of Ghazni during the past 24 hours.
According to military sources, the airstrikes killed at least 21 Talibs.
The anti-government armed holy warriors including Taliban have not commented regarding the airstrike so far.
This comes as the security situation in some districts of Ghazni province has tanked during the recent months.
Talibs often carry out terrorist related activities in some restive districts of the province.
In the meantime, the Afghan forces are busy conducting counter-terrorism operations against both groups in this province.
Similarly, the U.S. forces also conduct regular airstrikes in restive districts of Ghazni to suppress Taliban and other anti-government krazed killers.
