| Miles of Smiles 36 aid convoy arrives in Gaza to deliver medical supplies |

| [AlAhram] The Miles of Smiles 36 aid convoy arrived in Gazoo Strip via the Rafah border crossing on Monday to deliver a second batch of medical aid to Gazoo's health ministry. The aid includes 100,000 IV units, which will secure the needs of the health sector for three months, Khaled Youssef, the coordinator of the convoy in Europe, said on Monday. It is part of the humanitarian aid  which has been provided by the Miles of Smiles convoy since the start of May, according to the head of the convey, Essam Youssef.The first delivery arrived in Gazoo in early May and comprised 200,000 IV units. |

Recently obtained information indicates that organizations and activists formerly involved in transferring funds to Hamas through aid foundations in Britain and elsewhere now operate, as part of the Union of Good—an umbrella network comprised of dozens of Islamic funds across the world that funnel money to Hamas institutions.. 2. Of particular note is the involvement of senior officials in Interpal, a British fund that transfers funds to Hamas and was outlawed in the U.S. and Israel, in sending the so-called Miles of Smiles aid convoys to the Gaza Strip to support Hamas. Miles of Smiles convoys sent over the past years entered the Gaza Strip with help from the Egyptian administration. In addition, organizations and activists from South Africa belonging to the Union of Good (the Al-Aqsa Foundation and the MJC) are crossing Africa, including Sudan, on their way to the Gaza Strip.
