#9  Yeah. Wouldn't die. They had to kill it. :-)

#8  The RAH-66 was an idea ahead of the then existing technology. Stealth helicopters didn't die. See the stealth Blackhawk used in the bin Laden raid.

#7  the RAH-66 origins go back to the Reagan era and, at that time, its purpose was mostly stealthy surveillance (although it had some weapons)

the funding for the prototypes was mostly Clinton era although some was from the Bush 43 era

eventually, the Bush admin terminated the RAH-66

and notwithstanding the image, the diameter of the rotors was about 40'

#6  Were these ALL Bush bombs or holdovers from Clinton?

#5  Don't forget this one. Though it would have been fun to have a bunch of them causing mental anguis on name basis alone in the ME.

#3  Comparing the RAH-66 to the F-35 is the kiss of death.. Major difference is that the Army finally canceled the RAH-66 project after a massive cost overrun.

One POS is enough, glad we don't have two of them.

#2  Spin the rotors fast enough...

#1  Duh. Those rotor blades are way too short.
