[WASHINGTONTIMES] A top Google executive was caught on hidden camera declaring that the federal government should not break up the tech giant ‐ because then it would be more difficult to prevent "the next Trump situation."

"Elizabeth Warren is saying we should break up Google," Ms. Gennai said. "And like, I love her but she’s very misguided. That will not make it better, it will make it worse, because now all these smaller companies who don’t have the same resources that we do will be charged with preventing the next Trump situation."

She added, "It’s like a small company cannot do that."

The video, part of a Project Veritas sting operation into Silicon Valley, provided fodder to conservatives who have long charged Google with manipulating its search engine to promote a left-of-center political agenda.

#11  1. Dont use Chrome. Use Firefox - or if you have to have a Chrome-based browser, Brave is a solid alternative. And use DuckDuckGo as mentioned above for searches. And get an extension that forces https encryption as the default protocol. If you really want to ensure browsing privacy, use a virtual machine that you wipe every time, and a VPN to connect, and if you dont mind it being sloggy, use TOR.

If you still must have Google search results, but without giving Google the tracking, use StartPage, it anonymizes the search request and returns the results to you without giving you away to Google.

#1  Without a civil war rolling, people in Northern California are going without electricity. No electricity, no Google, no Amazon. Wonder what these people are going to do in a civil war they're rushing to when most of urban America will discover what people in Florida and the Gulf Coast have experienced for extended life with intermediate electrical access.
