Taliban militants take control of the strategic Kayan Valley in Baghlan province

The local officials confirmed that the Talibs captured Kayan Valley on Monday night.

The officials further added that scores of Talibs poured into Kayan Valley after launching an offensive from Do Aab district of Samangan.
