House Democrats Sue to Obtain Donald Trump’s Tax Returns
2019-07-04
[BREITBART] The House Boodle Central has filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Treasury Department and the IRS
...the Internal Revenue Service; that office of the United States government that collects taxes and persecutes the regime's political enemies...
in an effort to obtain President Donald Trump
...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party...
’s tax returns.
The committee, headed up by Rep. Richard Neal (D-MA), said it doesn’t have to explain its reasons for seeking President Trump’s tax return information. The panel stated that the administration has defied a subpoena for the documents "in order to shield President Trump’s tax return information from Congressional scrutiny." Further, politicians said it’s investigating tax law compliance by the president, among other things.

"In refusing to comply with the statute, Defendants have mounted an extraordinary attack on the authority of Congress to obtain information needed to conduct oversight of Treasury, the IRS, and the tax laws on behalf of the American people who participate in the nation’s voluntary tax system," reads the lawsuit.

"The Committee has been unable to evaluate President Trump’s claims about the audit program or investigate its other concerns because the President has declined to follow the practice of every elected President since Richard Nixon of voluntarily disclosing their tax returns," court filing state.

#7  How about, releasing everyone's tax returns. That means the pols and judges. Nothing to hide right? Otherwise, where's the so called 'equal protection' that SCOTUS uses all too often to justify granting one group or another standing.

Unlike putting a question about citizenship on the Census which, though legal, requires you to have a good reason.

#3  I think we should sue for some Democrat tax returns. Pelosi's might be interesting, and Feinsteins's and Water's...

But even if the Democrats had Trump's tax return they're too dense to make heads or tails of it.
