The National Directorate of Security in a statement said the NDS Special Forces conducted the operation in Dangam district.
The statement further added that the Special Forces killed Ahmadshah, Taliban commander who was in charge of a group of 20 bad boys.
Furthermore, the National Directorate of Security said the Special Forces arrested three faceless myrmidons during the raid.
The NDS Special Forces also confiscated 9 weapons, 2 improvised bombs, 3 radio sets and 39 kilograms of drugs.
The Taliban group has not commented regarding the operation so far.
