| Deadly roadside bomb explosion targets wedding guests in East of Afghanistan |

| [KhaamaPress] A deadly explosion destroyed a vehicle carrying wedding guests in Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. province of Afghanistan. The Provincial Government Media Office in a statement said a roadside kaboom explosion targeted a vehicle in Wazir area of Khogyai district. The statement further added that the earth-shattering kaboom killed 9 civilians including 6 women and 3 children. Furthermore, the Nangarhar Governor’s Office said the earth-shattering kaboom also maimed 5 civilians including a woman and 2 children. The Governor’s Office also added that the civilians were on their way to participate in a wedding ceremony when their vehicle struck a roadside kaboom. No individual or group including Talibs has so far grabbed credit for the earth-shattering kaboom. |
