#13  A woman reported she saw four gunmen moving as a unit while shooting. I did not read any other such accounts. People report many things in stressful situations. Often you get multiple conflicting reports of the same event.

#12  Thank you for catching this for us, KBK, and the rest of you for adding information as it comes in. Rantburg truly is a group project!

Thank goodness Mr. Crusius was stopped so quickly, and may all the wounded heal well and quickly.

#11  Cartels are right across the border. Can't believe there was not at least one concealed carry in the store.

#10  My local and Fox News are rolling around in it like your dog when something died. I turned it off, Slow news period and the anti-gun ghouls come out. Itunes time

#9  I'm telling you it's all about the glory. I'm sure he planned this out to get the most casualties he could. Don't think anyone will ever beat the Las Vegas shooter but they will always try.

These things should be treated like a plane crash or a train wreck. Has to be reported but quit giving these nutjobs the wall to wall publicity they're seeking.

#8  48 hour rule, especially as it's a weekend. Though I already, myself, think this is mental health issue. Again.

#6  The wackjob supposedly wanted to stop the invasion of Texas. The whole thing feels off to me. Too convenient for certain political parties. If he really wanted to stop it, why not go to the border and shoot people crossing? That makes more sense and he's far less likely to get caught.

#5  Another I wanna be famous for killing a bunch of people case. As long as the cable channels keep glorifying them it won't end.

#4  UK's Mail on Line - Walmart gunman Patrick Crusius, 21, who went on 20-minute shooting spree with a long rifle in El Paso, killing at least 19 and wounding 40, including a four-month-old baby, before surrendering to SWAT team - as cops make SECOND arrest

#3  Patrick Crusius, 21. Pretty far away in N. Texas city of Allen in a very affluent neighborhood FBI appears to be waiting outside a home for a search warrant.

#2  ...posted gun free zone? See these at the entrances to a lot of stores. A tort lawyer might argue that puts the burden upon the store for their customers security.

#1  Apparently 15 min before the cops arrived. Apparently no one fired in self defense.
